TWO PIECES OF GARBAGE
I and others on this blog have written about what a scumbag Jason Wallace is. He’s the father of Kaylee, the little girl who was on death’s door last summer but miraculously survived. Her parents arranged for another child to have their daughter’s organs upon her death but did so in an inappropriate manner. Then the father caused big troubles with the hospital and had to be removed. As is often the case, one’s actions in one context usually reveal something more about the person’s underlying character, even when the circumstances are extraordinary. Well, we later learned that the scumbag had outstanding charges and attended court with a freaking entourage! He and his wife are the same glory hogs who wanted a helicopter ride back home and have done everything possible to exploit their daughter so they can remain in the spotlight. They also took people’s donations for Kaylee and used them for their own needs, which they claim can also help Kaylee. The COMMENTS sections contains the most recent story on this waste of flesh, who was involved in the beating and abandoning of a friend that almost killed the man.
The next story in the COMMENTS section is just as bad, as this monster prays on senior citizens and in at least one case physically assaulted an elderly woman while stealing her purse. Of course, once this habitual sociopath is caught, he’ll spend about 24 hours in jail in total, get released, and start all over again. Trust me, he cannot be rehabilitated, as he has no conscience.

Security video shows a man snatch a purse in the lobby of a building. Police are looking for Richard Earl Rupert, top right, 54, wanted on charges of theft and fraud.

Kaylee’s dad left man ‘beaten, alone’: Assault victim tells court accused Jason Wallace destroyed his life by helping attackers flee scene
A beating victim is accusing Jason Wallace, whose infant daughter Kaylee captured intense media attention with her battle for survival, of destroying his life.
“Why did you have to leave me scared, beaten and alone in the dark?” asked Yusab Abdel-Meseeh, 23, as he read out his victim impact statement at Wallace’s sentencing hearing Monday. “Why did you have to destroy my life?”
Wallace, 34, pleaded guilty in November to being an accessory after the fact to aggravated assault and robbery of his then-friend, Abdel-Meseeh. According to an agreed statement of facts, Wallace drove Kenneth Lowry and Nicholas Zock away after the two men assaulted Abdel-Meseeh, then 19, at the Brick Works on Bayview Ave. near Pottery Rd. in the early hours of Oct. 21, 2006, leaving him with “serious and obvious injuries.”
Wallace also later met with Abdel-Meseeh and tried to arrange, in exchange for $10,000, for the victim to not provide evidence against him, court has heard. The money was never paid.
Zock, 25, and Lowry, 29, have each pleaded guilty to aggravated assault in Abdel-Meseeh’s beating. The sentencing hearing for all three men began Monday.
The beating fractured Abdel-Meseeh’s orbital bone, which surrounds the eye. A steel plate had to be installed. “The nerve damage in some parts of my face is hypersensitive and leaves me in excruciating pain,” Abdel-Meseeh said.
Wallace told reporters he has found a job as a corporate recruiter and that his wife, Crystal Vitelli, who accompanied him to court Monday, is 22 weeks pregnant with their second child.
Their first daughter, 11-month-old Kaylee, has a rare, usually fatal disorder called Joubert syndrome.
She captured the public spotlight last year when her parents offered to donate her heart to another critically ill baby girl. But Kaylee surprised doctors by surviving after being taken off a respirator. Wallace said Monday that Kaylee is still very sick and has recently experienced heart failure.
The hearing continues Tuesday.
Seniors ripped off by suspected con
The woman was so delighted to get a visit to the seniors’ residence from her long-lost nephew that it seemed a small thing to loan him a little cash for car repairs.
It was only later, after checking with relatives, that the senior realized she had been scammed out of thousands of dollars by a stranger who had preyed on her kindness.
An 11-member Toronto police task force is hunting for Richard Earl Rupert, 54, who police allege has left a trail of swindled seniors across Canada. Police say the victims, ranging in age from 78 to 95, were cheated out of their pension cheques by the seasoned con man.
Police say between January 2008 and November 2009, at least 20 seniors gave a man money for rent, car repairs or travel. The average amount stolen has been $881, with some amounts running into the thousands. “This guy is picking on the most vulnerable people in our community. He is a cunning predator who befriends them and gets their confidence,” said Toronto police Det. John Dunlop.
A Canada-wide warrant has been issued for Rupert. Police say victims include seniors in Thunder Bay, Vancouver, Calgary, Ottawa, Waterloo and St. Catharines.
Rupert is sought on charges of robbery, break and enter, eight counts of fraud under $5,000, three counts of attempted fraud and six counts of theft.
The latest scams happened in Toronto, where Dunlop says six seniors – including a 94-year-old man and a 93-year-old woman – were scammed in four separate incidents between September and November.
In one incident in Toronto in late November, police say a man told an 81-year-old woman that as a building manager, he could get her a discount on rent if she paid in advance.
He accompanied the woman to the bank, but she became suspicious when they returned to the building and he didn’t have a key to open the door.
Security video of the incident shows a man rifling through the woman’s purse, a struggle taking place, and then, before escaping with her wallet, the thief shoves her onto a bench.
According to police, Rupert uses many aliases, but usually uses the first name Richard.
He is described as white, 5-foot-5, 140 to160 pounds with a reddish complexion, hazel eyes, a receding hairline and short, dirty-blond and grey hair. He is known to hang out at bingo halls and usually pays cash for stays in motels and B&Bs.

I agree with you, those two have fallen pretty low. I can’t stand Jason Wallace. Anyone fooled by his actions must be completely blind.
I have no doubt his daughter Kaylee is very sick and requires on-going care. What kills me is that her parents are using her to their own benefit.

I am grateful my children are healthy, but if either was to fall ill, I doubt getting an SUV would be my priority, just as I don’t think special transportation would be essential (be it SUV, limo or helicopter).
In fact, I’m almost certain that if my children were this fragile, I would want them to remain in hospital. These two should be ashamed for trying to misuse the funds given to help care for their daughter
As for Wallace’s past trouble with the law, I hope they throw the book at him!
As for the other scumbag, it’s only a matter of time before he gets caught, considering they know who he is. And they should throw the book at him too!

Thank you for the links, Lily. Let’s hope karma finds these two pathetic dirtbags and lays a cosmic smackdown on them…
