Some people may complain about the “gotcha” journalism that is prevalent among both the “mainstream media” and ordinary citizens with a cell phone. I don’t care about celebrities and I think paparazzi are parasites feeding a sick demand by sad people who care more about “fantasy figures” than their own neighbours, colleagues and even family sometimes.

However, how many times have bad things done be people in a position of “authority” been captured by ordinary citizens? And we know for a fact that, without video evidence, most of the allegations made against these people in a a position of “power” would be dismissed. That is truly fact with a long history behind it; in many cases, including the G20, the true victim was disbelieved and even charged with something at first. Only when video evidence subsequently appeared did they get some justice.

So, I am thankful to everyone who did the police’s and government’s job by providing evidence against this scumbag, “constable” Babak Andalib-Goortani, who “allegedly” beat a number of innocent victims during the G20 protests. Stay tuned for more information as it develops. I only hope that he’s not merely the sacrificial lamb, drawing attention away from the people at the top who allowed so much of the crap to happen. And this goes all the way to PM Harper, who arranged for this debacle in the first place, despite EVERYONE’S advice against holding the G20 in Toronto. Fuck you, Harper.

So, the new Toronto Council is getting down to business and SOME councillors are doing the right thing. Others are trying to bring change to the proceedings, like newly elected councillor Mary-Margaret McMahon—-she defeated princess Sandra Bussin—-who said “I was embarrassed to be a Toronto councillor that day….We had three small items on our agenda, one being whether to have sandwiches at our meeting or not. It took us five hours, that is ridiculous. It was a complete and utter waste of our time, money and effort.” She added,“I’m imploring all us here now because I know you ran for the same reasons, let’s work together,” to Council, some of whom tried to shout her down because they’re assholes. Even that jerk, Giorgio Mammoliti, is on board with the Ford mantra and actually stood up for McMahon when he said, “I would suggest if we would have listened to her, she was simply saying that the meetings are taking way too long, that the dialogue that is taking place is a waste of time and perhaps we should get to business.”

And what about Ford? Even some writers of The Star are giving him their due. The COMMENTS section has a column by Joe Fiorito that praises the Ford brothers (Doug in this case) for getting things done in a timely manner.

I’ve said it a number of times: Ford is a very flawed man and I don’t know what’s going to happen to the city with him at the helm, but I do know that he’s going to ensure that Councillors at least TRY to remember that we pay their salaries and their job is CUSTOMER SERVICE. And if they continue to do what they’ve done for far too many years, he has the ability to highlight it, embarrass them, and make sure they never get elected again. Until this year, rarely did we see this happen in Toronto, hence the same ol’ scumbags kept getting elected year after year. But thanks to Ford and his message, ACCOUNTABILITY is finally a word being used around City Hall.

As much as I detest Canadian politicians, they do not hold a candle to the evil fucking bastards called American Republicans (and Democrats). And the sad thing is, the media rarely cover this evil gang of monsters properly. You want to find out how fucked they are? Guess where you have to go: That’s right, THE DAILY SHOW or THE COLBERT REPORT.

This week, the Daily Show took the Republicans to task for shamelessly using 9/11 in every despicable way possible, yet they have been holding up a bill that would FINALLY offer financial compensation to the brave heroes—-the first responders—-of 9/11 who have been suffering horribly due to the poison all around them while they rescued thousands of people. And what did they do this evil shit for? They wanted to ensure that Americans making over $200,000 enjoy a slight tax cut like everyone else. Not only does this end up costing the US government billions of dollars but it deprives true heroes of a tiny bit of comfort in their very sick or dying days.  Fucking evil fucking bastard fucks.

If you are a non-gangster/non-criminal/non-scumbag/non-sociopath, yet you are stupid enough to implore others not to “snitch” or are ignorant enough to have a bad impression of those who do choose to “snitch,” fuck you and fuck your parents for failing in doing their job.

I understand why people choose not to come forward with information related to a crime because they are afraid of having some Argument for the Death Penalty hurt or kill them or their family. I really do understand that fear because it’s legitimate. However,

a) You can always leave enough information anonymously that could help the police gather enough information to possibly break the case and perhaps move closer toward nailing some scumbag(s). So fuck you if you don’t provide that information anonymously.

b) Fuck you for directly or implicitly promoting the idea of “don’t snitch,” which might end up deterring someone with more guts and morals than you from coming forward, either anonymously or not. And if you ignorantly support the music of someone who is evil enough to implore up to millions of fans to be equally ignorant, fuck you again.

c) Stop whining about the police or “the man” or anyone else for not helping to rid the earth of murderous cockroaches if you are part of the “don’t snitch” movement. Do you want to know why, in many places in North America—-including Toronto—-the majority of homicides are “black on black”? Because of people like you. Ignorance kills, fool.

d) The COMMENTS section contains a STAR article describing the tragic outcome of the Ephraim Brown murder trial. Only one person was brave enough to come forward: Kishauna Thomas, the 21 year-old cousin of the slaughtered innocent boy. She has been shunned by many of the people around her. The defence counsel claimed she lied. Why? Why would she risk her life to lie about two animals? Now, I know there were inconsistencies in her testimony so maybe she was wrong about certain things. If more people had come forward anonymously with information, maybe this boy’s murderers would be in jail instead of roaming free. Of course, this is Canada, so even if they do serve time, it will likely be for a few months…

If anyone wonders why some people grow up not trusting in police or other authority figures, stories such as this one help explain why. Here are parts of the Sun story describing the problem involving a disabled boy and a school board that’s planning to take his father to court for not taking him to school when the board failed to do anything about the much bigger and older monster:

William Lau, 7, has cerebral palsy and is being bullied by a much larger 10-year-old at George Webster Elementary School in the city’s east end.

“I am keeping him out of school and I’m not going to explain myself to anyone. I just got off the phone with the school’s social worker. They are bringing me up at an attendance board meeting with the teacher, principal and superintendent to get him back in school,” said Lau, who added he has also been threatened with court action.

“My son is disabled and there is no support on the playground. This kid (the bully) is 60 pounds bigger and a foot taller than my son,” he added. “He has hit his (William’s) friend, his brother and he gave him a two-fisted hit to the chest. He fell down easily because he can hardly walk. After the assault I had to rethink sending him.” William had problems with the bully last year, but it was more verbal and not physical.

Lau says the only way William will be allowed to go back to class is if the school provides the support he needs. “He is not getting any help, but the school gets funding for that. He is only coming back if he gets the support he needs and he has that right,” Lau said. “I don’t care if they take me to court.”

People, people…please. I’m talking about Ford’s Chief of Staff and former campaign manager, Nick Kouvalis. He is a Dick and a Douche with a capital D. A Prick with a capital P. A Scumbag with a capital S. A Bully with a capital B. Okay, okay, you get the point.

Readers of my blog know that I am not a fan of Ford’s personality, but I do respect his philosophy of CUSTOMER SERVICE, TRANSPARENCY, FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY, and ACCOUNTABILITY. However, readers also know that I am concerned about poor judgment. And judgment is something Ford has always been lacking in.

Did Ford show poor judgment in choosing Don Cherry to introduce him to City Hall? Maybe, but I don’t hold Cherry’s idiotic tirade against Ford. That was Cherry being the ignorant, abrasive and inappropriate windbag that Cherry is (for the record, I used to make sure I never missed Coach’s Corner no matter where I was or what I was doing on a Saturday night because I liked a lot of what he had to say about HOCKEY; I even taped the damn segment if I couldn’t watch it live…then I grew tired of the same ol’ same ol’ week after week many years ago).

One of my contacts did tell me that Ford was very receptive to criticisms made against the Douche, Kouvalis, for bragging about knocking John Tory out of the mayoral race. This was particularly distasteful after Tory asserted that his decision had nothing to do with the “dirty tricks” Kouvalis was crowing about during his press conference. Ford apparently told my contact that he had already taken Kouvalis to task for his lack of class and even encouraged my contact to call the asshole to express contempt for his words/actions.

In short, Kouvalis is like some Jr. High School bully. Interestingly, he apparently had surgery to help him lose 180 pounds, so I wonder if he really was a huge bully at school or whether his dickishness is a result of having been bullied all his life for being over-weight. I have no idea about his past but I do know his present. As much as this jerk is being branded as Ford’s brain-trust behind his election as mayor, Kouvalis will also be a big part of his downfall, unless Ford smartens up.

The COMMENTS section contains a Star article profiling Kouvalis. As biased as the Star may be, I think it’s pretty clear that Kouvalis is a very small boy contained in a big man’s body.

But at least this lowest of the low scumbag saved us millions of dollars in legal and incarceration fees by killing himself. Death is too good for the coward, but again, at least my tax dollars won’t be wasted on this piece of shit. Who am I talking about?

A 47 year-old York University researcher, Richard Dyde, who was charged in connection to an international child porn ring, that involved 57 arrests (25 in Canada, 7 in the GTA, including a loser scumbag York U student don, a clown, and an archbishop). The only good thing is that 25 children were rescued from abuse.

But one of these Arguments for the Death Penalty (I believe the archbishop) received only 30 months in jail, which we know will translate into maybe 6 months when all is said and done. And he’ll likely be in protective custody, which means he won’t get what he really deserves from the rest of the inmates. Oh well. Maybe he’ll do the right thing and kill himself too…
