- I’ve long said that one of the signs of the coming Apocalypse is that “Snooki” from Jersey Shore has become a role model. But I can chalk that up to bad parenting. However, when a UNIVERSITY (Rutgers, to be exact) pays her $32,000 to speak on campus, which is $2000 more than they will pay to freaking Nobel and Pulitzer Prize winning author Toni Morrison, the end is definitely nigh…sigh….

Saturday, April 2nd, 2011Another Moron Judge Who Deserves to be FIRED
Friday, March 25th, 2011As the Sun article in the COMMENTS section depicts, here is another judge who has no idea what the fuck he’s talking about. Here he has a life-long sociopathic scumbag who has absolutely no chance to ever change, who most recently stabbed one person and carjacked her and then plowed into another car causing the driver severe damage, and who did all this while violating his parole by being in a place he shouldn’t be and using drugs. So what does this asshole judge say? I quote:
“I am not satisfied that Smith’s conduct was likely to inflict severe psychological damage upon his victims.”
Fuck you, “judge.”
I’m So Disappointed at my York Region Readers
Sunday, March 20th, 2011Readers of this blog know that I post all comments, no matter how rude, ignorant, or just plain “out there.” Perhaps the “craziest” posts came with respect to York Regional Police and other people in the region. For anyone who does not know, here is a link from last month which contains further links to the entire sordid affair: http://rationalradical.com/2011/02/this-story-just-wont-die/
What disappoints me about my readers is that, given the many odd “coincidences” and other concerning facts that have emerged with respect to a number of names raised in these stories, I took it upon myself to investigate further. I contacted the right people to look into this story and provided as much information as I had gathered; I even had some details provided to me through my private email (radicalrational@gmail.com), which I passed on to the right people.
However, I needed more information and made numerous requests for such information privately and via this site. And what did that get me? Nothing. Even that big mouth, rude, condescending, at least partially lying reader who posted under numerous aliases—including York Region Police Officer—failed to provide anything, despite my attempts to convey his concerns to those who might be able to do something about it.
Not surprisingly, those contacts have lost interest in the story, which continues to develop, as one can read at this site:
http://torontoautostation.blogspot.com/2011/03/it-must-be-in-water-cops-are-crazy.html
Although the aforementioned website has some questionable aspects to it, I don’t see how anyone could deny that something really fishy seems to be going on with respect to the main players that keep getting mentioned. One of those names was recently arrested for murder. And if you read this story, you’ll see that things continue to be fishy up in York Region; either that or the blogger is blatantly lying about what police have said:

This link contains a long list of relevant stories suggesting that some really scary shite in York Region:

It’s some really crazy shite. Speaking of crazy shite, I have only one thing to say to the “man” posing as York Region Police Officer:
You, “sir,” are an impotent little coward who flails around desperately seeking attention like an attention/love-starved child. When someone actually gives you some respect and decides to give a little bit of credence to your seeming delusions, you fail miserably in helping out your cause. You are pathetic.
Finally, I posted this story a few times, but if you want clear evidence of just how dysfunctional, unaccountable and/or corrupt York Regional Police are, check it out. It’s worse than any movie: http://www.thestar.com/news/gta/article/857456–wife-s-lies-ruined-his-world
Yes, Canada Still Sucks…
Friday, March 11th, 2011What do you do to an unelected Senator who has been proven guilty of defrauding the tax payers of tens of thousands of dollars? Let him not have to do any work (do Senators ever do any REAL work?!) and keep paying him his $132,000 salary and perks, including defrauding the citizens of a further $315,355 in travel and office expenses. Only in Canada, eh? Yes, read the Sun Story in the Comments section…
Yet Another Reason Canada Sucks…
Thursday, March 10th, 2011What do you do to someone who fails miserably in her job, fails to act on 221 of 228 complaints sent her way by “whistleblowers,” whom she is charged with protecting, fails to find ANY fault in the 7 cases she did investigate, abuses all of her staff to the point that the turnover rate is 50% and many employees retire early and lose out on better pensions due to their forced early retirement at her hands, and files hundreds of pages on one employee she believes may have complained about her?
You give her more than $500,000 of course! Read the COMMENTS section for this disgraceful story in the Star. The sad thing is that Harper, our PM, is claiming that he had no choice but to do this; anything else would have cost more, would have taken longer, and would have prevented any action being taken on the 228 and counting complaints brought forward by the whistleblowers…I mean HEROES. The saddest thing is that, since this is Canada, Harper may be telling the truth. Yes, Canada sucks…
(This story was posted yesterday; today, the Star posted Ouimet’s response during her appearance at a hearing about this affair—she chose to skip the government’s previous request for her to appear—which I have posted in the COMMENTS section. In short, it pretty much shows her to be a sociopath and/or delusional.)

Conservative Contempt!
Wednesday, March 9th, 2011“It’s clear that the government has broken the rules and is in contempt of Parliament,” said Liberal finance critic Scott Brison, who wrote one of the two motions to censure the Tories.
<snip>
In a highly-anticipated ruling, (Commons Speaker) Peter Milliken on Wednesday said that this government’s stonewalling was “unsettling.” Worse still was the refusal to provide an explanation for denying a perfectly legitimate request.

Highest Ranking Douche of the Year!
Saturday, February 26th, 2011Read the COMMENTS section to see the entire story about this douchebag “judge,” who doesn’t even have a background in criminal law! Yet, he ruled on a rape case. What was this learned individual’s astute observation? That a rapist deserves only a conditional sentence of two years less a day because he believed “sex was in the air” due to the victim’s attire. Fortunately, this story is getting a lot of publicity so at the very least, this asshole will have to face a lot of scorn from everyone around him and his whole family will be embarrassed, thus making his life more difficult. And, of course, with such publicity, there’s actually a chance that his ri-fucking-diculous “sentence” will be overturned on appeal and the rapist will actually serve some time.

Why Ford Got Elected…
Saturday, February 26th, 2011I wrote about one of the stories in the COMMENTS section before: One doctor was responsible for diagnosing 99% of the cases of a certain disease that allowed families to get more TAX $$ from hardworking citizens. The story talks about more corruption in that food allowance program that we’ve already discussed, with one reader/contributor—FunkyMe—providing an insider’s perspective at that time.
The next story talks about another corrupt entity, TCHC (Toronto Community Housing Corporation). I hope everyone there who is truly responsible for the waste and for the horrible job they’ve been doing gets fired. Otherwise, as the article mentions, Ford might get the green light to do what he’s reportedly planning on doing, which is to scrap the TCHC completely and make poor people fend for themselves in the housing market. I think it’s a rational idea to get rid of the people at the top and make them pay back any money they’ve wasted. But to get rid of the entire system that so many people rely on? That’s not radical; it’s just plain mean-spirited.
This Story Just Won’t Die…
Wednesday, February 23rd, 2011I’ve written a number of times about some crazy stories about things allegedly happening in the York Region Police department:
http://rationalradical.com/2011/01/holy-shit-is-there-some-truth-to-the-conspiracy-theories/
And now, a reader posted a story that shows that one of the names listed in the crazy story about York Region Police and other craziness happening out there has been arrested for MURDER. If you check out this link: http://rationalradical.com/2010/12/thank-you-amateur-journalists/, the second comment after the original blog mentions the story, and lists as one of the main baddies, Maryam Torabipour. Then, in the fifth comment by ogi1, you can see that Maryam Torabipour has been arrested for murder.

And Who is the LEADER of this Place we Call Canada?
Sunday, February 20th, 2011The funny thing about politics is that, as long as people have food on their table and some money in their pocket, many/most voters will not scrutinize their leaders. This seems to be the case in Canada, where so many people are only too happy to pretend that PM Harper is someone that he is not, as long as our economy withstands the effects of the global recession better than in most countries.
But make no mistake: Harper is a dangerous, sneaky control freak whose ideology will trump human rights and the welfare of anyone he can trample all over. Now, even after his minster of International Communications, Bev Oda, was proven to have committed an unethical act by not following proper government protocol—she directly wrote “not” on a document to make it look as if another body/organization had not approved funding for a certain group (the group is irrelevant; it’s Oda’s actions we must focus on)—and then clearly lied about her actions, Harper is not only refusing to get rid of her. No, now he’s actually PRAISING her for her transgressions.
This is the same guy who got rid of Helena Geurgis on flimsy/non-existent evidence because she was becoming a liability in his eyes and I guess she pissed him off some other ways. To be clear, I’m glad Geurgis was axed because, even if the evidence was not firm enough, the stories about her and her husband were coming together in a way that strongly implicated both of them—or, in the best case scenario for her, mostly him with her being complicit by her supposed “ignorance” of his actions. But his hypocrisy is pathetic, if not predictable.
Then, he decides to get some Toronto Brownie Points by posing with David Chen and supporting his right to protect his business from thieves without being persecuted himself. Yet at the same time, he’s pushing forward “Get Tough on Crime” bills against even the most mild of drug users, ignoring all of the evidence indicating that this approach does not work. On top of that, he’s opposed to trying other approaches to dealing with hard-core addicts other than simply locking them up, since that does not work either.
Yet, many people will ignore Harper’s true character/agenda because his government’s fiscal policies are keeping them out of serious financial danger. Readers of this blog know that I don’t trust the Liberals provincially or Federally, but I can’t trust the Conservatives either. I wish the NDP would get their act together and not mess up like Bob Rae did in Ontario—hence the NDP will never be re-elected in this province—or like Miller and his gang did in Toronto. If nothing else, we need a new vision in this country that will remain fiscally responsible but that will not take antiquated, ineffective, punitive approaches to complex problems.
And for anyone who does not know me or this blog, please understand that I am big on getting tough on REAL crime. But Harper’s approach is merely pandering to the masses, even though many of those who will vote for him should be appalled at his mind-set.
